Fuel Supply/Electric Power
Fuel Supply:
The majority of our boilers are fired with #2 Fuel Oil that are designed to simplify the installation in an emergency situation. However, we do have dual fired units if gas is required. Gas supply line must be sized for volume and pressure.Electric Power Supply:
Power requiremets to operate the burner motor fan, boiler feed pump, and boiler room lighting etc. :
- Below 40 horsepower the electrical power supply would be 220/1/60 30 amp. service.
- Above 40 horsepower the electrical power supply would be 600/3/60 30 amp. service.
For very light loads, we have electric steam boilers which require high amperage. A disconnect switch must be provided between the power source and the rental boiler.
